Troop 505 is located in Arlington, Virginia. We offer a year-round adventure-based program designed to encourage effective character, citizenship, leadership and fitness training for boys ages 11 - 17. Scouting is adventure, family, fun, character, leadership and so much more.

We provide our Scouts opportunities to push themselves through advancement, troop activities and patrol leadership opportunities. We are a scout-led troop and give our Scouts the responsibility to manage the troop with adult leadership and support as needed. We spend as much time as possible in the outdoors and we go camping, hiking, and/or do other activities every month.

Our Scouts start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts boys in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

Come Meet Us

The Troop meets weekly to plan and prepare for activities, and have some fun. Come see our scouts take turn in leadership positions and to meet the troop's adult leaders and volunteers. We meet on Mondays from 7 - 8:30 pm at:
